Officer's Report
The site represents the residential curtilage of an existing dwelling, known as "Ballasherlogue", located on the western side of the Belle Abbey Road leading from Colby to Lingague through Cronk y Dooney.
Previously, permission was granted for an extension under PA 04/2548. Now proposed is an amendment to this in the form of the omission of the glazed walkway at the rear of the kitchen, and the provision of a pitched hipped roof over the existing flat roofed, two storey annex. This, in my view, vastly improves the appearance of the building and there are no objections to it.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This permission relates to the alterations shown in drawings 04/2067/04, 04/2067/05A, 04/2069/06A, 04/2069/07 and 04/2067/08 all received on 28th April, 2005.
C 3. The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
I confirm that this decision accords with Government Circular No 57/01 (Delegation of Functions to Director of Planning and Building Control).
