In pursuance of their powers under the above bylaws the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment hereby PERMIT hoardings to be erected and/or advertisements to be displayed by Games Stores Group Ltd
Installation of a internally illuminated fascia and projecting sign, at 56 Strand Street Douglas IM1 2EL
In accordance with the application and drawings submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and approved by the Committee on the 17 June 2005, in compliance with the requirements specified hereunder and generally in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government (Control of Advertisements) Bylaws 1952:-
- The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- Any advertisements displayed and any land used for the display of advertisements shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
- Any hoarding or similar structure or any sign, placard, board or device erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
- Any advertisement hoarding shall not be sited or displayed so as to obscure or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal or signal for the control of safety of navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway or airfield.
- Before any advertisement is sited or displayed on any land, the permission of the owner of the land, or a person entitled to grant such permission, shall be obtained.
- This approval relates to drawing number 1887-02-E date-stamped 3rd May 2005.
- The larger-sized projecting sign must be so positioned as to permit 4m of clearance above the shared-surface highway.
