Officer's Report
The application seeks approval for the erection of a conservatory onto the side/rear of a detached dwelling located on Old Laxey Hill in Laxey. The proposed development is slightly larger than that which was previously approved through PA 04/01777/B for the erection of a conservatory and is partially retrospective.
Whilst the neighbouring property has objected on the grounds that they consider the conservatory to be too big I, after visiting the site, consider that the impact of the development is relatively modest due to the change in levels as Old Laxey Hill falls. Accordingly, I recommend that the planning application be approved.
