Waste Disposal Management Statement
Statement from Management regarding Waste Disposal Henderson & Glass, Ground Floor, 11 Castle Street
We have organised private refuse collections through property managers, Prospero, who we use for our other venues at the Sefton, in Port St Mary and in Peel. They will pick up both our commercial waste and also the recycling.
We will locate a small bin inside the kitchen at the back of the ground floor, and put it out nightly for collection early each morning. We will position the bin outside on the side lane in the alcove space to the back of the building.
We will also have a recycling store in the kitchen, which will also be removed each evening after service, to be collected every following morning. This bin will be placed alongside the commercial waste outside and taken away at the same time.
We are conscious of our responsibilities around environmental health so will ensure we operate good practices around our internal bins and waste management in general, supported by our property managers.
We will not be leaving rubbish on the streets or using other business’ bins. We will not obstruct the highway, nor will be make any mess on the side lane or on Castle Street or Market Street.
We will monitor our refuse collections and amend as necessary as we go on. Prospero can come as and when required as they are in town every day.
