Officer's Report
The application seeks approval for the erection of a two-storey side extension and single storey rear extension onto a semi-detached dwelling in Ballaugh.
There are no objections to the planning application and I consider the proposed development to be in keeping with the existing dwelling without detrimentally affecting the surrounding properties.
Accordingly, I recommend that the planning application be approved.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This approval relates to drawing no.s 5001/1 and 5001/2 date stamped the 21st February 2005.
C 3. The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
C 4. There must be no discharge of surface water (including that from roofs and paved areas) from this development to any foul drainage system(s).
I confirm that this decision accords with Government Circular No 57/01 (Delegation of Functions to Director of Planning and Building Control).
