Our ref: DS/EC RECEIVED ON 11 May 2005 13 MAY 2005 DEPT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Dear Madam
PA05/00365/B – Erection of extensions to provide new sitting room, cloakroom and rear and front porches, replace existing top hung timber windows with sliding sash Georgian timber windows and erect new garage and revise vehicular entrance and driveway, Gollane House, Clenagh Road, Sandygate, Jurby
I refer to our letter dated 24 March 2005 regarding the above planning application.
The above mentioned application has been considered by the Network Planning Section and the following observations are the response of the Director of Highways on behalf of the DOT Highways Client Group.
I can now confirm that the response of the Highways Division of the Department of Transport is:
No adverse traffic impacts, subject to the imposition of the following condition(s):
- The access shall be constructed to DoT Highways standards.
NB. The proposed access improved the sightlines onto the adopted Highway from the driveway. The placement of a mirror on the opposite side of the carriageway would provide additional visibility towards Sandygate Cross Road.
Yours faithfully
D. Sewell D SEWELL Network Planning & Schemes Engineer
