This application relates to a two properties on the corner of Windsor Road and Dalton Street, one of which is within the Douglas, (Windsor Road Conservation) Area.
The proposal is to replace the current asbestos roof tiles with imitation slatetiles and to lead cap the parapet wall and create capping to the front elevation cornice.
The Conservation Officer considers the details of the work to be done to be acceptable and there should be no detrimental impact on the Conservation Area.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This approval relates to location plan and photographs date stamped received on 18th January 2005 and drawings, photographs and letter date stamped received on 25th April 2005.
C 3. The slate to be used on the roof must be Eternit Rivendale -colour Heather as stated in the letter accompanying the application.
