Officer's Report
The property is an existing house locate on the south eastern side of Bowling Green Road, just to the south west of the Douglas Road roundabout. The property falls outside of Castletown's Conservation Area.
Proposed is the replacement of the existing windows on a like for like basis: that is the existing sliding sash windows on the front and rear will remain looking as they presently do and the fixed window in the rear will remain as such. All new windows will be double glazed.
It is most unlikely that anyone will appreciate the difference in the new and existing windows all of which are appropriate to the dwelling.
