Officer's Report
This application relates to a terraced house in Tynwald Street.
The proposal is to replace the existing timber framed windows and door and replace them with pvc casement windows with the same glazing pattern and pvc door with a similar surround.
The policy for a pre-1921 building outside of any conservation area is that the glazing pattern should remain the same regardless of material and method of opening, and this complies with that policy. Designs have been included in the application for only some of the windows so there should be a condition ensuring that all the front windows in particular are of a similar design.
