Officer's Report

The application seeks approval for alterations and extensions to a detached dwelling in Kirk Michael to create additional living accommodation. Those alterations comprise of a single storey extension to the side and a porch extension with attached toilet and utility room.

I consider the proposed extensions to be in keeping with the character of the dwelling and to be relatively unobjectionable. I recommend that the planning application be approved.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This approval relates to drawing no. 02D date stamped the 13th December 2004.

C 3. The external finishes of the extensions must match those of the existing building in all respects.

C 4. Measures must be put in place during construction in order to avoid run off entering any nearby watercourse.
