Officer's Report

The application seeks approval for the erection of a new industrial unit replace an existing industrial unit within Laxey Mill. It is understood that the existing industrial unit is in a poor state of repair and needs to be replaced.

The proposed unit is a similar size to the one being replaced and is within an established industrial area. Accordingly, I consider the proposed development to be unobjectionable and recommend that the application be approved.
