This application relates to the Lloyds Bank at Victory House, Prospect Hill, Douglas.
The application is retrospective for illuminated advertising signage over a cash point at the entrance of the building, which is already in place.
The sign is relatively small (795mm x 270mm) and located directly above the cashpoint machine. The machine is within the open porch area to the front of the building at right angles to the pavement. It is therefore less visible than it would otherwise be from the street and it is felt that the sign in this location would have less of an impact than if it were directly located on the street frontage. The sign is considered to be acceptable.
