The site represents the curtilage of a recently erected house in the new estate off Moaney Road in Santon. The property is a semi-detached house with attached single storey garage which is set back from the front wall of the house by 3m or so.
Proposed here is the conversion of the garage to living accommodation. Whilst this would result in the loss of parking space behind the building line, there is space for plenty of cars (4) on the driveway and as such I see no reason to oppose this application.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This approval relates to the conversion of the existing garage to additional living accommodation as shown in the drawing received on 15th November, 2004.
N 3. PRIOR to the commencement of any works the applicant is advised to consult the Chief Fire Officer to ensure that adequate fire precautions are taken.
