It is both a Registered Building and within the Conservation Area. The application is to extend the garage at the side of the property forward by O.6m to enable two cars to be parked inside. The existing garage door and frame will be removed and refixed in the new position. This is a minor alteration and the building will appear very similar once it is completed. The Building Conservation officer recommends approval as per the details of the drawing. There are no adverse impact on the building or the conservation area as a result of the alteration.
