Officer’s Report

The application seeks approval for the erection of a conservatory on the southeastern elevation of a detached dwelling in Ballaugh.

I consider the size of the conservatory to be in keeping with the size of the dwelling. Furthermore, from site visit I have concluded that the conservatory would not be readily visible from the nearest public viewpoint (i.e. the highway)) and as such I consider the proposal to be acceptable. Accordingly, I recommend that the application be approved.
