Such planting must involve a group of deciduous trees to the east of the proposed building, details of which must be approved by the Planning Authority prior to the erection of the building.
no adverse traffic impacts
no objection following site visit, subject to screening by hedging or sod wall, watercourse protection, and no further development at location
Lonan Parish Commissioners initially refused the application citing need, landscape impact, and access concerns but later withdrew their objection after a site meeting and suggested conditions; Highways Division had no views due to no adverse traffic impacts.
Key concern: lack of demonstrated need for new agricultural buildings given recent applications to demolish redundant farm buildings
Lonan Parish Commissioners
Objectionthe Board has asked me to inform you that they have REFUSED the above Planning Application; The Board are somewhat surprised that given the Applicants very recent planning applications to demolish or change the use of redundant Farm Buildings, that there is a supportive need to build new agricultural buildings; the proposed location is well away from existing Farm Buildings and would be obtrusive to the general landscape and amenity of the area
Lonan Parish Commissioners
No Objectionthe Board has directed me to inform you that they now have no objection to the proposals, believing that the site chosen is the most appropriate; the Board would hope that the Committee, in determining approval, would give consideration to the following conditions. That there should be screening, either by way of hedging or sod wall, that water courses will be protected, and that no further development will be permitted at that location
Conditions requested: screening, either by way of hedging or sod wall; water courses will be protected; no further development will be permitted at that location
