Bride Commissioners objected to application 04/01477/B stating the property is already outpriced for agricultural workers and extensions would exacerbate this; an individual objected on precedent and affordability grounds; Highways Division had no objection to a different application.
Key concern: property already outpriced for agricultural workers and extensions make it unaffordable
Geoffrey Clark
ObjectionThe size of the existing dwelling and the half-acre garden is large by any agricultural dwelling standard. As now proposed it will be far larger than many private rural dwellings, and certainly of a value such that it is unlikely to be affordable by any agricultural worker.; To now approve this increase in size would be inconsistent and inequitable to previous applicants.; If this is approved it will demonstrate undue favouritism to Mr Teare that is not accorded to other applicants, and will be an unfortunate precedent.
Bride Commissioners
Objection04 1477 Refused - this is already out priced for an agricultural property, extra rooms on this property will make it far outside farmworkers reach.
