The property is an existing terraced cottage which fronts onto Malew Street and backs onto the rear of Hope Street. Proposed here is a rear extension, of single storey form and joining onto an existing rear wall to the back of the neighbouring property to the south east, the introduction of new windows to the rear and a new front door which will be a solid, panelled one in hardwood. None of these changes is objectionable.
