Dear Sir/Madam,
ON APPEAL: 95/681 - K. A. Bishop - Approval in principle for 5 additional self-catering holiday cottages, Ballachrink Farm Cottages, Ballaragh Road, Lonan
I refer to the recent appeal hearing in respect of the above planning application.
In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 7(5) of Schedule 1 to the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982, I am enclosing herewith a copy of the report of the person appointed to hear this appeal.
The Minister has considered the report, and accepts the appointed person's recommendation that the appeal be allowed. However, the Minister judges that, in the circumstances of this particular development, it would be unnecessary to impose the condition suggested by the appointed person at the end of paragraph 15. The Minister has therefore directed that the decision of the Planning Committee to refuse planning permission be reversed, and that the application be approved subject to the conditions set out in the notice attached to this letter.
Yours faithfully,
