The property is the shop unit situated on the corner of Main Road and Hillberry/Avondale Road and is presently occupied by the Co-op as a grocery store.
Proposed is the installation of an ATM cash machine which will be positioned next to the front door on the Main Road elevation. There is no parking directly outside the premises, nor is there parking outside the Isle of Man Bank on the opposite side of the road (other than a bus stop) which has an ATM machine which is very popular. Another machine would avoid people having to cross the road to get their cash which would improve road safety although there is a pedestrian crossing integrated with the traffic signals at this point.
