Officer's Report
The site comprises the curtilage of a terraced house on Park Road.
Proposed is the installation of replacement windows:
- Front
- UPVC - frames
- Tilting upper lights transom splits the window in a ratio of 2:3
Within a Conservation Area.
Existing windows are not original and are inappropriate. Most of those nearby are PVC-framed tilting casements, but with a central transom.
Numbers 2 and 4 are similar to the existing at Number 3. I suggest that PVC-framed, tilting windows would be acceptable, but with centrally positioned transoms.
