Officer's Report
It is proposed to construct a double garage to the rear of Plot 74, Erin Crescent, Port Erin, a recently completed dwelling on the Truggan Road, Heritage Homes development.
The garage would normally be classed as Permitted Development, however at the recent appeal a condition was attached removing permitted development rights from this and other dwellings on this section of the development. It had been the Committee's recommendation at appeal to remove PD rights, from the terraced, first time buyer dwellings only.
Objections have been received to the development; however, having visited the site, I do not consider the proposal will adversely affect the neighbouring occupiers to the rear, given the height of the proposal and separation from the dwelling.
I consider the proposal to be acceptable
