Officer's Report

The application is for the replacement windows in all the external elevations of a dwelling on Bowring Road in Ramsey. The replacement windows comprise of uPVC top opening casements and a velux style rooflight.

The dwelling is relatively modest and minor in terms of dwellings along Bowring Road. Given this I consider that the installation of replacement windows is relatively unobjectionable. Furthermore, several of the surrounding properties have already had replacement windows installed and it is considered that refusal of this application would be difficult to sustain on appeal.
