Officer's Report
The site lies in the development known as Cronk Cardle at the Corrany. The property lies as a part of a pair of semi-detached houses to the left of the estate road between two rows of housing, one below one above.
Previously, planning approval was sought for the creation of an access and parking area at the bottom of the site. This was refused (PA 03/1184) for reasons relating to road safety. I understand that the applicant has discussed the application with Department of Transport and this amended application results from this. Defer for DOT's response.
DOT now recommend that the application has no adverse traffic impact and the Commissioners have no objection.
The proposal now proposes an access further up the estate road and as such is in a safer position. The access will be provided by removing an existing length of fencing.
