Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No: 04/00349/A On Review
- The proposed development entails a new access onto the A5 Castletown Bypass, a strategic route with a 50 mph speed limit contrary to the interests of road safety. Additionally such an access would necessitate an uncontrolled level crossing over the Isle of Man Steam Railway within a short distance off the A5, contrary to the interests of road safety.
- This review has been considered by the Planning Committee on written evidence. Any additional submissions not previously circulated to interested parties are enclosed herewith.
