Officer's Report
The property is a semi-detached house situated in an avenue off the main thoroughfare through Birch Hill. Proposed here is the erection of a conservatory at the rear of the property. The conservatory is quite large - projecting into the rear garden by 4.7 m and having a width of 5.5 m and a height of a little over 4 m .
The conservatory appears to be built on the boundary with number 20. I will find out in greater detail how the boundary will be dealt with. 10.02 .04
The applicant has confirmed in writing and with photographs that he intends to install obscured glass in the windows facing the neighbour as there is a brick extension already in place there which doesn't particularly want to see. He also confirms that all work will be carried out on/above/under land belonging to him. As such, this appears to be acceptable.
