no views on the application, having been considered and having no adverse traffic impacts
Mrs P A Kennish objects strongly to the access arrangements via a disputed right of way across her land, citing safety hazards and inaccuracies in plans; Santon Parish Commissioners raise concerns over building scale and potential road safety from neighbour's access claims; Highways Division has no objection.
Key concern: dangerous access via disputed right of way onto main road with construction traffic
Mrs P A Kennish
ObjectionThe developer's claim it has the right to surface what is an agricultural right of way across grazing land is denied by me and will be strenuously opposed.; Access to the development, as proposed to me by Mr Kennedy, via the Main Douglas to Castletown Road would be dangerous; The proposed development as advertised in The Courier of 6th November is stated to be stables but a view of the plans shows no stabling area but a ménage.
Santon Parish Commissioners
With reference to our stance on original application 00/021175/B, it is thought that the stable block may be unsuitable for the site due to its size, height and massing.; if there is a possibility of construction traffic being routed this way then there may be a road safety issue.
