The proposed movable huts will be built from sturdy softwood construction with felt shingles, built on site for ease of transport & fixed to heavy sleepers & staked joists on the beach. The huts will be in place from the start of daylight saving time and removed from the site when daylight saving time ends. For courtesy, IOM Harbours have been contacted along with the relevant emergency services to inform, with no current objection. The DOI has been notified of the proposals.
