4th AUGUST 2003 Our client, Mr & Mrs Harper wish to erect a double garage with roof terrace on the site of the rear yard to No. 14 Derby Square, Douglas. The size, proportion, materials and design is similar in all respects to the neighbouring property No. 13, which is now nearing completion. The balcony railings are intended to match those already existing to other parts of No. 14.
The extension, apart from providing a much needed facility and secure parking will also serve to enclose the existing yard which will include the existing oil tank and other services, which presently present a rather untidy appearance to the rear lane.
