Dear Sir,
Re: P/A 03/00851/B - ERECTION OF CONSERVATORY TO REAR ELEVATION, 1 KING ORRY PLACE, GLEN VINE, MAROWN.
The plans for the proposed development have been inspected and the Drainage Division of the Department of Transport requests that the following comment(s) be passed to your Planning Committee: -
NO OBJECTION In principle subject to: -
There must be NO discharge of surface water (directly or indirectly) from this proposed development to any foul drainage system(s) so as to comply with the requirements of the Department of Transport Drainage Division.
(NOTE: Communication Fees will be payable to the Department of Transport in respect of these drainage connection(s).)
It is noted that the surface water from the property is to be discharged via a soak-away. The use of soak-aways are subject to Building Control approval and if this approval is not granted, the Drainage Division would not give permission for the discharge of surface water into the existing foul system and an alternative means of disposal would have to be sought.
In the event that this application is approved I should be grateful if these comments could be incorporated in the approval notice.
Yours faithfully,
Ian Wade Assistant Engineer Development Control
