no objections
no views, no adverse traffic impacts
Andreas Parish Commissioners and Highways Division raised no objections to the erection of a replacement barn at Ballacallum Farm. SPMCE expressed concerns about incomplete site definition and unclear farm status but did not object to the structure itself.
Key concern: defined site is not entirely included, potentially making application invalid in law
Society for the Preservation of the Manx Countryside and Environment
No CommentWe note that the defined site is not entirely included. What is the full extent of this farm? We consider that a complete site should be defined in the application, otherwise it is probably invalid in law.; We also note that the use of the site is given as "Non-working farm". What is that? Has it ever been granted planning permission for change of use from agriculture? If it is not a working farm what do they need a barn for?; The proposed structure is not of itself objectionable, but we are very concerned about these other non-specifics
