In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you

Proposal: Alterations and refurbishment of control tower annex at: Jurby Terminal Building Jurby Industrial Estate Jurby Ramsey IM7 3BD

Which was considered on 15 August 2003, subject to the compliance with the conditions or modifications specified on the attached schedule.

Secretary Planning Committee Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.

Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -

• the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
• any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
• the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
• any appeal has been completed.

Note 3: Rights of the review of the decision are attached.

1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
2. This approval relates to drawing numbers CP/2333-101, CP/2333-102 rev. A, CP/2333-103 and CP/2333-111 date stamped the 27th June 2003.
3. Prior to the commencement of works Manx National Heritage must be given reasonable opportunity to undertake recording of the features of the building.
4. For reasons of visual amenity the replacement metal profile sheeting must be light grey in colour and not olive green as indicated on the submitted drawings.

NOTE With regard to condition 3 of this approval the applicant is advised to contact Mr A Johnson of the Curatorial Section of Manx National Heritage.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
