Environment Policy 35
Policy requires that within Conservation Areas, only development which preserves or enhances the character or appearance of the Area is permitted, protecting special features. The officer assessed the rear extension's pitched roof form as following the existing building and more appropriate than the flat roof outlet, which is obscured by boundary wall.
