Policy O/RES/P/22 (Onchan Local Plan)

General Policy 3
Isle of Man Strategic Plan allows development outside zoned areas for replacement of existing rural dwellings (Housing Policies 12-14) and essential agricultural housing. Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

Agricultural occupancy restriction
The occupation of the proposed dwelling must be limited to persons whose employment or latest employment is or was in agriculture in the Island and including also the dependants of such persons as aforesaid.
Field shelter prior to dwelling
Prior to the construction of the dwelling the field shelter (nesting bird mitigation) must be constructed in accordance with drawing no. 2009/37/06 date stamped the 5th November 2009.
