The proposal is contrary to Housing Policy 14 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 in that the proposed development within a prominent position, if approved, would be detrimental to the visual amenity of the area by reason of its, scale, massing and design. 2. The proposed development due to its siting and size would not provide an acceptable level of usable external amenity space for a four bedroom dwelling and as such would represent an over-development of the site. Specifically, a valid appeal must be in writing, signed by the appellant, and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
