This proposal is to restore this Ramsey property to it's former use, a townhouse/Fishermans cottage. This will be done without building alterations, but with a change of use, floor plan and decorative features. Currently, there exists a rentable flat upstairs, this equates to one household, the proposed change of use will not alter this, and the address will still contain only one household.
The shop is very small, and it has been empty for well over a year, the present owners considered a tearoom, for which permission was granted, however the premises remains too small, and economic conditions do not render it viable.
It was historically two semi-detached Fishermans cottages, this seeks to restore it to one quaint dwelling in the town.
With hanging baskets, curtains, external embellishments, and the like, ultimately creating a prime and proper property near the centre of town, one which the community can be proud of, freshly painted and with window boxes - helping the Britain in Bloom campaign year on year.
