Planning Status And Relevant Policies
Within the adopted Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007, the following policies are considered to be relevant in the determination of this application: General Policy 2, paragraph 8.12.1
Assessment
This application is amendment to a recent planning permission (09/00463/B). The proposed alterations are the 1) The removal of a first floor landing window, 2) Reduction of width to the kitchen window and 3) The re-positioning of the drive extension. It should be noted that the conservatory has noted altered in any way or form from that approved.
The proposed alterations are relatively minor and will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. Furthermore, the occupiers of No. 41 The Cherry Walk, who previously objected to the last scheme, has written in advising us that he has no objection to this application as the amendments overcome his concerns when objecting to PA 09/00463/B.
The notes suggested by consultees are not material planning considerations and for that reason are not attached to the report, as part of the recommendation.
RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the planning permission be granted subject to conditions. PARTY STATUS
