The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005 The Registered Building Regulations 2005
M P Associates Ltd
12 Strathallan Crescent
Douglas
Isle Of Man
IM2 4NR
In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Proposal: at:
Marina View Limited Registered Building consent for demolition of outbuildings to rear elevation (In association with 09/00909/F) Bridge House 6 Bridge Road Douglas Isle Of Man IM1 5AG which was considered on 13th January 2010, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below. Date of Issue: 19th January 2010
Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas
Reason(S) For Refusal:
- The proposed demolition of the outbuildings would be contrary to Policy CA/6 of Planning Policy Statement 1/01 and Environment Policies 35 and 39 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 in that no proper assessment has been carried out to assess the merits/justification for the demolition of the existing building. It is considered that the demolition of the existing outbuildings would adversely affect the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.
This decision was made by the Senior Planning Officer under the authority delegated by the Department under Regulation 4(2) of the Registered Building Regulations 2005.
