Housing Policy 15
Housing Policy 15 states that the extension or alteration of existing traditionally styled properties in the countryside will normally only be approved where these respect the proportion, form and appearance of the existing property, and only exceptionally for extensions over 50% of existing floor space. The officer assessed the minor window alteration to the approved small-scale lean-to extension as sympathetic in design, of minimal height, not dominant, and respecting the traditional property's character.
