The application site is located within a Conservation Area. The proposal is to install uPVC sliding sash windows to match the existing windows. The proposal will replicate the style and method of opening as the existing windows. The proposal would not be contrary to Planning Circular 1/98. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
