Environment Policy 19
Policy permits equestrian activities and buildings in the countryside only if no loss of local amenity, no loss of Classes 1-2 agricultural land, and highways can accommodate traffic (cross-ref ENV14 for land classes). Officer tested the retrospective manege against these three criteria: amenity impact limited by screening hedges/trees; no agricultural loss as land was prior informal garden/curtilage not farmed; no traffic increase from private domestic use by on-site resident.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

This approval relates to the location plan, site plan and photographs date stamped the 20th January 2009.
Private use only
No approval is granted for the commercial use of the manege riding arena permitted by this planning approval.
Do not oppose subject to the imposition of the following condition: private use only. The applicant shall contact the Network Operations Section prior to any highway works.
