Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 29 December and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· None
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 23/01007/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, due to existing building and negligible/unnoticeable change in traffic impact at the access, subject to the proposals remaining tourist accommodation. The applicant is advised to consider cycle parking and an EV charging point to aid Net Zero ambitions. · 23/01431/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the retained off-street parking available. · 23/01437/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, due to it being an existing driveway, as the proposals would have a similar or less parking demand to the existing dwelling and the adjacent roads are controlled by TRO parking restrictions. · 23/01444/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the proposals are using an existing building, the demand for parking would be similar to the existing part use, and there is parking available on-street for users of the proposals in this low traffic low speed area. · 23/01455/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the proposals remain ancillary to the existing dwelling, as it is temporary site in a low traffic area. · 23/01476/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as there is adequate parking off-street for the proposals and the existing dwelling on the site. · 23/01490/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site already is used for similar type activities albeit for a different age group, the proposals would have a similar parking demand as existing, and there are parking restrictions on-street to regulate traffic. · 23/01491/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site already is used for similar type activities albeit for a different age group, the proposals would have a similar parking demand as existing, and there are parking restrictions on-street to regulate traffic.
