The existing windows are cracked in my places, the timber frames are deteriorating, the leading is worn & corroding. The timber frames have been painted at a DIY level by the past owners, and on close inspection the glass is covered in paint splatter. Whilst the windows look nice from afar, up close they are not fantastic. We have investigated repair and encapsulation with replacements quotes being given at over £30,000 which is unaffordable for us.
