General Policy 2
General Policy 2 (b), (c), (g), (j) of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2016 is materially relevant. The policy requires development to respect character, provide adequate infrastructure including drainage, and avoid harm. The officer assessed the material change as acceptable in the business park and drainage as condition-protected, concluding full compliance with no harm to character or drainage.
Time limit
The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice. Reason: To comply with Article 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
Drainage solution implementation
Before the parking area coming into use, the proposed drainage solution must be completed according to drawing no. 01 Rev D and no. 10 Rev A which have been received on 9th April 2024. Reason: in the interest of sufficient provision of sewage utilities.
