The key issues appears to be the size design & mass of the extensions we the impacts upon the existing buildings. Therefore, our work and the individual commutes on this matter only.
- The application followed many pre-App discussions the applicant was agent with the then conservator officer who is also ~~atttext~~ & myself.
- The aim was to ensure the character & appearance of the existing buildings, name the farmhouse, two story barn & single storey barn.
- The extension is essentially infil between the farmhouse & single store rear barn. From public views this will be well screened, particularly from the public highway. Photos 1 & 8 of the applicants' subisson are key views which demonstrate this view.
- The proposal from photo 8 & 9. Further instant views to the north of the site would likely only see the upper section of the extensions roof.
- Photo 1 & 2 instant views to the south are unlike above any views, as the farmhouse would screen the exit.
- From these key views the farmhouse & two story barn would still retain there.
Character, appearance & quality
8 - views would be advice from the high school then stood immediately adjacent to the western gate, although the design size mass of the extension would be in keeping & appreciate form of day.
9 - the extent would in parts be apparent from the public footpath which are to the north East - South of the site
10 although from the north - east views would be screened or limited, given the type of foot boring them. View to the south East of the East elevation would be adéquate, but again if is considered the size, projection and form is appropriate to retain the character & appearance of the farmhouse & two story bar. The more company approach to the group is to consider appreciate & share a form common form to projects or barn conversions in the countryised where appropriate.
- Notwithstanding the fairly limited appearance from public views of the proposal, it is considered the design, scale, position, mass and finish of the Extensor is an appropriate form of die. A complex will housing policies 11 and 13 e ctr of the Iam SP.
- The access sign first improves in terms of visibility. The existing is very poor. The new access ground level is above the ground level and therefore achieves far greater visibility. Visually the access uses an extend field gate and the driveway following the ground level of the site will also reduce the appearance of the medical side driveway. It was considered the impact would be minimum ~~what's right~~.
- Overall, it is considered the proposal would comply with the relevant policies and result in a ~~spare forms~~ die which would enhance the existing character and appearance of the individual buildings and the countryside. The
