I refer to the above application, a decision on which is currently being deferred pending the submission of an amended drainage strategy, and detailed proposals for electricity supply and water supply, all as discussed during our meeting on the 14th November 2024. Consideration of the application cannot progress without the information requested as per our attached emails, the last of these being from the then Director of Planning and Building Control on the 9th October 2025.
We would normally request that this information is provided to this office before the expiry of 21 days from the date of this letter so that the application can be determined. However, given the upcoming Christmas period, the Department seeks that such information be provided by the 12th January 2026. If the information is not submitted by this time the application will be deemed to be withdrawn under Article 5(9) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019. There is no right of appeal against such an action.
If you wish, you may choose to withdraw the application and re-submit it once the required information is available. If you resubmit within 6 months then no fee is payable, and if you resubmit within 12 months the fee is 50% of what would ordinarily be due.
