Erection of extension to replace existing conservatory, 2 The Grove,
Peel.
I am writing with regard to the above mentioned application which is currently being considered by
the Planning Authority.
The replacement of the conservatory to the rear of your property is acceptable in principle,
however, the mono. pitch roof of the proposed replacement extension would result in the wall of the
extension projecting
beyond the rear elevation of 3 The Grove by approximately
104m and would
result in a wall approximately
4.5m in height.
An alternative
roof scheme would lessen the impact upon the neighbouring
property.
It would be
more appropriate for the extension to have a pitched roof.
Please can you have a look in to this and let me know how you wish to proceed? It will be helpful if
you can respond by the 30th October 2014.
