Further to our telecom last Friday, please find enclosed your planning decision notice and the original legal agreement on which the approval was dependent.
Whilst I have kept a certified copy of the legal agreement the original herewith enclosed needs now to be formally recorded at the Deeds Registry Deemster’s Walk, Douglas.
You may wish to take your own photocopy for your records (for retention with your property deeds/land title for Farmhill Lodge) before presenting the original for recordal.

In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Infrastructure determined to APPROVE a planning application by David James Collister, Ref 14/00612/B, for the Conversion of outbuilding to ancillary living accommodation at Farmhill Lodge Farmhill Lane Douglas Isle Of Man IM2 2EF subject to compliance with the following condition(s):
Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
Reason: To safeguard the amenities of adjoining occupiers from overlooking and loss of privacy.
NOTE In approving the application the Planning Committee required conclusion of a legal agreement under Section 13 of the Act relative to committing ownership of the converted barn to Farmhill Lodge.
Drawing Numbers 001 (site location plan) and 002 (survey) received on 20 May 2014; and Drawing Number 003 A (proposed) received on 03 June 2014.

This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building Control in accordance with the authority delegated to him in the name of the Minister and/or in the name and on behalf of the Department.
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No 2) Order 2013.
Any appeal against this decision must be in accordance with Article 8 of the Order.
A valid appeal must be in writing, signed by the appellant, and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice. To further validate the appeal it must contain:

The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
Whichever is the later.
If no appeal is lodged within 21 days of the date of issue overleaf, and this decision becomes final, the Department’s public reference copy (counter copy) of the planning application may be collected by the applicant or their agent from Murray House.
Please note that if the counter copy of the application is not collected within THIRTY DAYS following the last date on which a planning appeal can be made it will be destroyed without further notice.
