Statement

1. A planning application carrying the reference number 14/00256/B for replacement windows at the dwelling known as The Cushag, 10 Shore Road, Laxey, was refused under delegated authority on 21st May 2014. The applicant has appealed against this refusal and has submitted a statement comprising five separate matters to substantiate their appeal.

1. It is considered that the officer report into the original application adequately covers the points raised by the appellant in their statement and, as such, no further information is submitted by the Planning Authority. The officer report is attached to this statement at Appendix A.

1. The appellant has requested that the appeal be considered on written submissions only. The Planning Authority has no objection to this request.
