In pursuance of their powers under the above Acts and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the application made by you
Construction of balcony at first floor level, 22 Howe Road, Onchan which was considered at a meeting held on the 13th February, 1987, for the reasons set out on the attached schedule. Dated this 20th February, 1987.

Effect of initial decisions
- (1) An initial decision shall not have effect until the time for applying for a review of the decision has expired and, if such an application is duly made, until the review thereof, and any subsequent appeal in respect thereof, has been finally disposed of or until the relevant times for appeal have expired or the relevant appeal has been duly withdrawn.
Reasons for Refusal
- The proposed textcary as shown in the Submitted application would adversely affect the privacy of the adjoining dwellings.
